First Day Complete at Buccaneer Invitational
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - The University of Tampa golf team is in 11th place after the first two rounds of the Buccaneer Invitational. The Spartans shot rounds of 300 and 304 for a 604 total. UT trails tournament host Barry University by 31 strokes.
The Spartans were led by Nicolas Jutigny, who shot a 147 and is in a 17th place tie. Chad Bouchard carded the low UT round in the morning with a 72 and followed it up with a 78, putting him in a 36th place tie. The Tampa lineup was rounded out by Kyle Roy (153, T-48th), Kris Shane (154, T-56th), and Ryan Barnett (162, 78th).
Charlie Green (160, T-74th) and Rich Marabella (169, 84th), are competing as individuals.
The final round of the Buccaneer Invitational will begin Tuesday morning at Normandy Shores Golf Club.
