
Nicolas Jutigny Earns Academic All-District Award
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa men's golfer Nicolas Jutigny is among the student-athletes honored on the 2010-11 Capital One Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams. Jutigny was a second-team choice in district three of the college division.
The senior from Bossey, France, graduated with a degree in marketing and carried a cumulative GPA of 3.69.
He also led all Spartans with a 75.0 average. As a senior, he turned in two top-five finishes while placing in the top-15 on five occasions. He also won the Saint Leo Invitational and led the Spartans to a pair of tournament championships in the 2010-11 season.
The 2010-11 Capital One Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performance on the floor and in the classroom.
The Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The University Division team includes NCAA Division I participants, while the College Division team combines NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.
