Tampa Men’s Golf Announces Tryout Information

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's golf team has announced a pair of tryout meetings for Tuesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 30, at 4 p.m. The meetings will both take place in room 110 of the HSHP Building (Bob Martinez Athletics Center).

All interested golfers must bring a copy of their class schedule, e-mail address and phone number to the meeting.

The first two rounds of qualifying will be September 8-9. Attendance at the meeting on August 30 is mandatory to compete in qualifying. This tryout is for currently enrolled UT students (Fall 2011 semester).

Only those able to shoot in the low 70s from 7,000 yards in 95 degree heat while carrying a bag for 36 holes (in one day) are invited to attend.

A doctor's note or class obligations are the only valid excuses to miss these meetings.
