
Tampa Competes With Nation’s Best to Conclude Fall Season
ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's golf team moved up two spots on the final day to finish 15th at the Rollins Invitational to finish fall competition. The three-round event was played at Rio Pinar Country Club.
Fellow Sunshine State Conference opponent Lynn University won the team championship with an 877. The Spartans ended play at 934 after shooting rounds of 314, 308 and 312.
Taylor Noel placed 36th to lead all Spartans. The senior opened with a 75 and shot a 77 in each of the final two rounds to come in at 229.
Also competing for UT was Jason Steele (234), Helder Alves (236), Steven Embree (238) and Zach Schuster (246).
