Tampa Men's Golf Announces Fall Tryout Date
Open to UT-enrolled students in fall semester.
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's golf team has set its fall tryout date, which is available for currently enrolled University of Tampa students only.
This tryout is for those capable of shooting scores between 70 and 76. Averages in the high 70s will not make the team.
To try out, you must attend our first meeting on Monday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m., in the Bob Martinez Athletics Center. Tryouts will start on September 8. If you cannot attend due to class at that time, you must notify head coach Rick Christie in advance; email, text, phone or stopping by his office will work.
For all of those who were not on the roster last year, you will need to bring the original or a copy of your physical within 6 months of the first qualifying round. The other forms, Sickle Cell and Assumption of Risk will be provided at the meeting and must be completed.
Aside from this, you will also need your class schedule, e-mail address, and phone number.
