MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team concluded its regular season with a performance at The Battle at the Shores.

  • Leading the Spartans was Bendert for the second time this season and first as a member of the UT lineup.
  • Bendert carded the top round for the Spartans with a third-round 74.
  • Competing as an individual, Spencer Olson matched Bendert for team honors with a 229.
  • Head coach Rick Christie also entered Nick DiMarco (239) and Patrick Montagnino (239) as individuals.
  • The individual champion was Barry's Jorge Garcia with a 208 (-5).
  • Joining the Spartans and host Barry from the Sunshine State Conference was Lynn (2nd), Florida Tech (4th), Embry-Riddle (9th), Palm Beach Atlantic (10th) and Eckerd (13th).

UP NEXT:
Tampa shifts its attention to the postseason as it will compete at the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Championships. The event is scheduled for April 14-16 at Lake Jovita Golf Course in Dade City, Fla.
