UT Men's Golf Marks Start of Gary Hilton Era
HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team opened its 2019-20 season under first-year head coach Gary Hilton, moving up three spots in the final day to finish ninth overall at the Golfweek DII Fall Invitational.

- In his collegiate debut, Wills, a freshman from Ecuador was the top Spartan golfer.
- UT's best individual round was a 71 by Wills in Tuesday's round.
- Head coach Gary Hilton did not register any individuals.
- After opening with a 313 on Monday, UT shot a 301 on Tuesday to move from 12th to ninth place.
- Monday's second round was rained out.
- A total of 13 teams competed.
- UT was joined by team champion Barry as the lone schools from the Sunshine State Conference.
