Spartans Conclude Regular Season With Sixth-Place Finish

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team played at The Battle at the Shores, facing off against top teams from across the state.

• Aadam Syed | 10th overall, 216 (+3)
• Trey Fessler | 19th overall, 218 (+5)

• Bo Wardynski | 49th overall, 230 (+17)
• Nathan Piatt | 51st overall, 232 (+119)

OTHER NOTABLES:

• Syed was the top performer for the Spartans for the third straight tournament.
• The lone sub-70 round for the Spartans was an opening-round 68 by Fessler.
• Head coach Gary Hilton registered senior Spencer Olson as the lone UT individual.
• A total of 12 teams competed.
• Other SSC schools joining UT and host Barry (2) were Lynn (2), Nova Southeastern (4), Rollins (5) and Palm Beach Atlantic (7).

UP NEXT:
The Spartans will next compete at the 2021 Sunshine State Conference Championships on April 19-20. The tournament will be played at Bayou Country Club in Largo, Fla.
