Spartans Complete Competition at Copperhead Championship
INNISBROOK, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's golf team played in the three-round Copperhead Championship, finished 16th overall.

- Aadam Syed | 38th overall, 224 (+11)
- George Eubank Jr. | 50th overall, 227 (+14)
- Alex Mercier | 55th overall, 228 (+15)
- Nathan Piatt | 73rd overall, 233 (+20)
- Bo Wardynski | 89th overall, 244 (+31)
OTHER NOTABLES:
- Syed led the Spartans for the second consecutive event.
- Mercier's second-round 71 was the top round for all Spartans.
- Wardynski returned to the UT lineup after sitting out the Shark Invitational due to an injury.
- Head coach Gary Hilton did not register any individuals.
- A total of 17 teams competed.
- Lincoln Memorial's Luke Harries was the medalist with a 210 (-3), winning by three strokes.
- Joining the Spartans from the Sunshine State Conference were Barry (T-2), Saint Leo (T-2), Florida Southern (5), Nova Southeastern (10), Lynn (12) and Florida Tech (17).
UP NEXT:
Tampa has one remaining fall event on tap, as it travels to the Miami Intercollegiate on October 25-26. The event will take place at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami.
