
Tournament Runner-Up Jonty Marshall Paces Spartans in 6th Place Finish
ALBANY, Ga. – The University of Tampa men's golf team continued its contention at tournaments heavily represented by nationally ranked teams, finishing sixth overall at the Hurricane Invitational.

Other Notables:
- Marshall had his best finish as a Spartan as the runner-up, as he finished in the top-10 for the second time this season.
- After starting with a 73, Marshall clubbed a 69 in Monday's second round, followed by a 68 on Tuesday.
- The lone sub-70 rounds were registered by Marshall.
- Freshman Alejandro Quintero made his collegiate debut as part of the Spartans lineup.
- Gary Hilton did not register any individuals.
- Reece Coleman, the No. 6 ranked player in the nation, was the individual medalist with a 209, edging Marshall by one stroke.
- A total of 17 teams competed in the event.
- Joining UT from the Sunshine State Conference was Nova Southeastern (2nd) and Florida Southern (10th).
- UT entered the tournament as the No. 14 team in the nation, joining a field of 10 ranked teams. Three top-10 teams were at the event, including No. 1 Anderson (S.C.), who finished fourth and just three strokes ahead of Tampa.
