Strong Finish Nets Fourth Place Finish at Southeastern Collegiate
VALDOSTA, Ga. – The University of Tampa men's golf team moved up two spots in the final round of the Southeastern Collegiate to finish fourth in an 18-team field.

- Jonty Marshall | 3rd overall, 211 (-5)
- Derek Sanderson | 30th overall, 220 (+4)
- Henry Tschopp | 38th overall, 221 (+5)
- Alex Mercier | 51st overall, 224 (+8)
- Porter Brackett | 58th overall, 225 (+9)
Other Notables:
- Marshall posted his second consecutive top-three performance after being the runner-up at the Hurricane Invitational.
- The top Spartan round was a 69, achieved by Tschopp in round two and Marshall in Tuesday's round.
- Brackett appeared in the Spartan lineup for the first time in the spring.
- Head coach Gary Hilton did not register any individuals as he returned to his home state.
- Beck Burnette was the individual medalist, finishing with a 209.
- A total of 18 teams competed in the event.
- Joining UT from the Sunshine State Conference was Barry (3), Nova Southeastern (4), Saint Leo (7), Lynn (9), Florida Southern (11), Rollins (14) and Embry-Riddle (17).
- UT is currently ranked No. 14 in the nation as a total of 11 teams competed. No. 3 Lee was joined by No. 4 Barry, No. 6 Nova Southeastern, No. 7 West Florida and No. 10 Georgia Southwestern from the top 10.
