Tampa Men's Golf Finishes 8th at Milton Makeup
MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's golf team finished 8th at The Milton Makeup, which featured three rounds of play at Miami Shores Country Club. The course played at par 71, stretching 6,705 yards.
Tampa posted rounds of 283, 291, and 301 for a total score of 875 (+23), securing 8th place in a competitive field of 10 teams. Lee University claimed the team title with a total of 838 (-14), while Barry and Nova Southeastern rounded out the top three.
Top Tampa Golfers
- Jonathan Garbely was Tampa's top performer, finishing tied for 12th with rounds of 68, 74, and 70 for a total of 212 (-1).
- Cooper Nelson carded 218 (+5) with rounds of 70, 72, and 76, tying for 30th.
- Cian Hughes tied for 36th, shooting 70, 74, and 76 for a total of 220 (+7).
- Linus Landahl, playing as an individual, tied for 39th with a total score of 221 (+8) after rounds of 70, 76, and 75.
- Louis Galvin and Kyle Honer also competed in the Spartans lineup with each totaling 228.
