Win Over FSC Helps Andrew Kew to SSC Honors
Senior attacker earns another conference award.
MELBOURNE, Fla. - University of Tampa senior men's lacrosse player Andrew Kew was tabbed as the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his play in UT's win over Florida Southern College.
Kew earns Offensive Player of the week for his performance in No. 11 University of Tampa's 17-14 non-conference win over Florida Southern College. Kew tallied seven points against the Moccasins on five goals and two assists. The Ontario native shot 62.5% placing six of eight shots on goal.
Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of February 11 - 17, 2019. Athletes are nominated by Sports Information Directors of member institutions.
