No.1 Ranked Spartans Finish Conference Play with Convincing Win Over Embry-Riddle
DAYTONA BEACH, FL. – The No. 1 ranked University of Tampa Spartans men's lacrosse finished off their conference schedule with a comfortable 20-10 win over Embry-Riddle.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST QUARTER
Tampas offense would waste no time getting going from the start, as a goal from Daniel Fitzpatrick would start a five goal unanswered run for the Spartans with nine minutes remaining in the quarter. The Eagles would pull back within three after gathering two goals of their own as they neared the end of the first.

SECOND QUARTER
Colin White would help keep the Spartans on track going into the second, as Embry-Riddle would capitalize twice with both coming from faceoff losses. Nonetheless, Christopher Ciesla would increase the lead for Tampa after a great solo run resulting in a goal for the Spartans. Tampa would tack on two more from Nick Papa and Cole Willard as the Spartans would head into the half on top.

THIRD QUARTER
Once again White would answer when his number was called, not wasting any time in the half to get on the scoresheet for his 38th on the season. The rest would be all Tampa, as the Spartans would put in four goals until the Eagles would respond with a goal of their own. Owen Miller would send the Spartans into the fourth quarter with an eight goal lead.
