USILA All-South Region Awards Announced, Seven Spartans Selected

Louisville, KY. - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2023 USILA Division II All-Region South Teams on Monday.
 
The University of Tampa lacrosse team had seven players receive All-South Region recognition as announced by the USILA earlier this week.
 
Matthew Beddow and Daniel Fitzpatrick were both selected to the First Team. Beddow, repeats as a First Team All-South Region selection while Fitzpatrick moves up from receiving honorable mention the previous year. 
 
Blake Ulmer, who received Outstanding Goalie of the Year for the 2021-2022 season, would earn second team accolades alongside midfielder, Owen Miller. Miller also repeats as a Second Team All-South Region from the previous year. 
 
Trejan Cannon was recoginzed by the USILA and selected for the Third Team. Tampa would also have two honorable mentions in Jackson Day and Harry Kilkowski.
