UT Men's Lacrosse Hits Road for Matchup with Palm Beach Atlantic
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's lacrosse team hits the road for the first time in SSC play.

Series History: The Spartans have never been beaten by the Sailfish as Tampa holds a 5-0 record all-time.
About the Spartans: Tampa is currently on a seven-game winning streak and will be away from Naimoli for just the second time this season excluding neutral site matchups. The Spartan's first and only road win came against Flagler back on February 7 to open the 2024 campaign. UT defeated No. 14 Florida Southern earlier on Wednesday by a score of 12-8 to remain undefeated on home turf this season. Sophomore Luca Mercaldo had nine saves in the win while Canyon Birch notched his eighth hat trick of the season. Graduate student, Matthew Beddow leads the team with 20 caused turnovers this season and has been an anchor on defense along with J.P. Robinson and Conley Stone. The Spartans are unbeaten versus the Sailfish and will look to make it six straight when they go head-to-head on Saturday.
About the Sailfish: The Sailfish have played few games in comparison to their opponent Tampa. Palm Beach Atlantic sports a 4-2 record overall but has yet to win a conference matchup thus far. PBA's two losses have come in its last two games versus Florida Tech and Florida Southern whom the Spartans just most recently defeated. The Sailfish will play a ranked team for just the second time this season when they face off against Tampa on Saturday. Keegan Southard leads the Sailfish in goals with 12 and in points with 17 and will be relied upon heavily to spark Palm Beach Atlantic's offense.
