UT Set to Face FSC in SSC Tournament Semifinals

TAMPA, Fla. - After clinching the regular season away from home Tampa returns to Naimoli as the No. 1 seed in the SSC Tournament to take on Florida Southern.

The Spartans have their sights set on yet another SSC Championship appearance but will have to go toe to toe with the Mocs first. UT boasts an impressive 14-1 record in the SSC Tournament with its lone loss coming a season ago on home turf to FSC. Tampa will make its ninth appearance in the SSC Tournament on Wednesday, 4/24 at 4 PM with hopes to hoist the trophy when it's all said and done for the eighth time in program history.

How They Got Here:

#1 Tampa earned a bye to the semifinals after finishing the 2024 regular season undefeated in SSC play. They have won 13 games in a row and lead the conference in goals (262). They also lead the conference in goals-against average, allowing just 9.00 per game.

#4 Florida Southern advanced to the semifinals after defeating #5 Saint Leo 20-15 in the first round. Brendan Glasser scored five goals in the victory, while Kaleb Cook and Nolan Tighe each scored four (Box).

2024: Tampa defeated the Mocs 12-8 on March 27th in Tampa.
