
Men's Lacrosse Sweeps SSC Player of the Week Accolades
TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa men's lacrosse sweeps the SSC Player of the Week awards as Ryan Kemp, Connor Theriault, and Michael Flores were selected this week.
Kemp recorded a game-high six points as Tampa defeated No. 3 Limestone (13-12) in a neutral site contest. The Fishers, Indiana senior, scored five times for the Spartans, including a first-quarter hat trick. The senior also registered one assist and two ground balls in the win. Kemp's five goals came off eight shots and seven shots on goal.
Theriault's net performance helped Tampa to get the best No. 3 Limestone (13-12) on the road. The Mount Hermon, Massachusetts, native tallied 11 saves and allowed 12 goals for a .478 save percentage. Theriault earned the win while facing 23 total shots and picking up a ground ball during his 60 minutes in goal.
Flores was 20-for-26 in face-offs in Tampa's neutral site win over No. 3 Limestone (13-12). Along with his performance at the X, the graduate student from Apopka, Florida, picked up a game-high eight ground balls for the Spartans. The weekly award is the 11th of his career, keeping him fourth all-time in SSC men's lacrosse.
