
Theriault Repeats as SSC Defensive Player of the Week
TAMPA, Fla. - Goalkeeper Connor Theriault has been named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
Theriault repeats as Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Tampa's wins over Concordia (Calif.) and No. 15 Seton Hill (13-8). The Mount Hermon, Massachusetts native tallied 10 saves and allowed five goals for a .667 save percentage. Against Seton Hill at the Crown Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina, Theriault made 16 saves and allowed eight goals for a .667 save percentage. Theriault earned two wins while facing 64 total shots, picking up two ground balls, and causing a turnover during his nearly 120 minutes in goal. The weekly award is his third this season.
