Bashaw, Lindsey Combine for Eight Goals to Propel Men's Lacrosse Over Palm Beach, 21-7

TAMPA, Fla. – Jackson Bashaw's five goals paced the No. 1 ranked Tampa over Palm Beach Atlantic at Naimoli Family Athletic Complex.

How It Happened

  • Palm Beach would score the game's first goal, but that was shortly answered by nine-straight from the host Spartans, who would take a 7-1 lead into the second frame.
  • In the opening 15 minutes, six different Spartans would find the back of the net; Jackson Bashaw, Davis Lindsey, Ronan Sanchez, Zach Johnson, Michael Flores and Desi Arrup.
  • Tampa would outscore Palm Beach Atlantic 4-2 in the second quarter, taking an 11-3 edge into the halftime break.
  • Tampa's defense would have a stellar third quarter as they would hold the Sailfish to just one goal in the third frame. Connor McDonough would find the back of the net twice for Tampa to get himself on the board for the day.
  • Jack Spears, Sam Gotham, Jordan Naso and Max Krumme capped off the game with fourth-quarter goals, giving Tampa a 21-7 victory.
