Bio

Scott Bramble joined the University of Tampa men's lacrosse program prior to the 2022 season and was a part of the coaching staff that helped the Spartans achieve their first-ever National Championship title. The veteran coach has 25-plus years of experience in coaching.

He previously served as an assistant coach at May River High School in Okatie, S.C., from 2020-21. He helped the team to a 12-5 record and the first playoff win in school history. Prior to MRHS, he was an assistant coach at Salesianum School in Wilmington, Del., from 2014-19. At Salesianum, he was part of a team that went 62-28 with four state championships, while coaching four high school All-Americans.

Bramble also brings experience coaching at the collegiate level, serving as an assistant coach at Washington College (Chestertown, Md.). He held that role with the Shoremen from 2000-08, and again in 2010. Washington amassed a record of 117-53 during Bramble's stint, which also included 23 All-Americans. Prior to Washington College, Bramble was an assistant coach at Kent County High School in Chestertown, Md., from 1996-2000.

In addition to his coaching success at multiple levels, he served as the President of Fleetwood, Athey, Macbeth & Mccown, leading the growth of an independent property-casualty insurance business. In this role, he established executive relationships with shareholders and national and regional carriers. He was elevated to this role after serving as the Vice President from 2000-07, and previously the Producer from 1989-2000.

Bramble attended Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Md., and also studied at St. Mary's College (St. Mary's City, Md.). He is married to Jill Bramble and has two children, son Nick and daughter Jordan. His daughter currently plays lacrosse at Mercer University.
