Bio

Matt Dugan is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the University of Tampa men’s lacrosse program.

He previously served as the assistant coach at Tompkins-Cortland Community College. In 2014, he helped lead the way to a record-setting year for men’s lacrosse at TC3. It was the 2nd time making the playoffs in school history.

TC3 also had the most players in school history selected to the all-conference team and many other team and individual records were set.

He has also held stints at D&B Sportswear, O’Connell Sports Management and in the real estate business. Dugan has also held positions at summer camps with Marist College and Hamilton College.

Dugan is a 2013 graduate of Marist College where he received a business-finance degree and was a member of the men’s lacrosse program. He was a three-year starter and led the team in face-off percentage and ground balls.

Prior to attending Marist, Dugan played three years of lacrosse at Christian Brothers Academy. He was a member of CBA's Section III Class C Section Championship team in 2007, and named second-team all-league as a junior and senior. He also lettered in basketball and football.
