Bio

Matt Henrie is in his ninth year as the Director of Operations for the Tampa Spartans Men’s Lacrosse Team. His duties will include game day and practice operations, shooting, editing, and uploading film, assisting with youth and prospect camps, as well as supervision and scheduling of team managers. 

Currently Matt is also a full-time Physical Education teacher for the Pinellas County School District.

Previously he had been a Physical Education substitute teacher and coach.  He coached the Potsdam Central Boys’ Modified Lacrosse team for two seasons, as well as a weight training coach and Girls’ Modified Volleyball coach for the Massena Central School District.

Matt is a physical education graduate from SUNY Cortland, where he received his degree in the spring of 2013.  He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Oswego in 2011 where he majored in Broadcasting and Mass Communications.

A Massena, N.Y., native, Matt graduated from Massena Central High School in 2007.  He was a three-sport athlete lettering in both soccer and lacrosse.  He captained both his varsity soccer and lacrosse teams, as well as earning both First and Second Team All Section accolades for soccer.
