Spartan Trio Named to Fitz Classic All-Tournament Team

TAMPA, Fla. - Three University of Tampa men's soccer players were among the 11 players selected to the Fitz Classic all-tournament team. The Fitz Classic, which consisted of four games over the weekend, included Christian Brothers, Flagler, Lynn and UT. Ricardo Cardoso, Dan Ingvarsson and Devin Shaw were included on the all-tournament team.

Cardoso, who earned Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week honors, had an assist in Tampa's 2-0 victory over Flagler and scored two goals against Christian Brothers. Among his goals were the game-tying and game-winning kicks, which occurred within five minutes of each other.

Ingvarsson and Shaw both played 90 and 94 minutes respectively in both contests as each tallied a shot against Christian Brothers.
