Game-Winner Against Top-Ranked Lynn Earns Kevin Sierra League Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. - After registering the game-winning goal against Lynn, the nation's top-ranked team, Kevin Sierra was honored on Monday as the Sunshine state Conference Offensive player of the Week. He joins teammate Ricardo Cardoso as the lone UT men's soccer players to earn the award this season.

Sierra, a senior from Tampa, netted the game-winning goal, as the Spartans defeated number one Lynn by a score of 4-2. Coming into the contest, Lynn's stingy defense had surrendered just two goals in the squad's previous nine matches.
