UT Men's Soccer is Ready for Second Conference Showdown

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team are set to welcome second conference opponent of the season.

Wednesday, Sep. 20 vs Saint Leo
Time/Location: 7:00 p.m. at Pepin Stadium || Tampa, Fla. 

About the Spartans: The Spartans are coming off a 2-2 tie to nationally ranked conference foe #12 Rollins. Marcello Valbuena netted both of the goals for the Spartans, with the Spartan defense shutting down the explosive Tars offense. Tampa averages 9.6 shots per game, with five goals on the season. The Spartans are looking to get back in the win column against the Lions on Wednesday night.

Saint Leo Lions

The Lions are coming off a 3-1 win against Mars Hill on Saturday night. Saint Leo has an overall record of 1-3-2 on the season, and they are 0-0 in the conference. Saint Leo averages six and a half shots per game, with six goals in the season so far. The Lions are looking to win their first conference matchup of the season in Tampa.
