HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The match began with the two conference foes taking turns with possession in their respective offensive zones. With 26 minutes left before the half, the Lions opened the scoring. The Spartan offense started to come alive towards the end of the half, creating shots and dominating possession. The Lions' goal would prove to be the lone one of the first 45 minutes.
Score: 1-0 Saint Leo
SECOND HALF: The second half opened with the Spartans eager to get on the board. In the 51st minute, Tampa netted back-to-back goals behind Pablo Marques and Rodrigo Lopes to quickly take the lead. The Spartans' defense stood tall, allowing them to come away with the exciting comeback win.
