Spartans Finish Third Indoor Meet as Focus Shifts to Outdoors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's track teams competed in their third and final indoor meet, returning to the Alachua County Sports Complex at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville for the Florida University Invitational.

Top Spartan Performers (Men)

• Tampa was the runner-up in the 1,600 Relay. A time of 3:24.15 came from Wade Martin, Khalil Snell, Ayden Morales and Joey Coulter.
• Coulter was timed at 7.19 in the 60.

Top Spartan Performers (Women)

• The Spartans placed a pair in the top five in the mile. Hannah Capel was fourth overall with a time of 5:06.68. She was followed by Tabitha Suggs.
• Zahra Wilson placed 10th in the 400, registering a time of 1:00.18.
• Tampa was fourth in the 1,600 Relay, notching a time of 4:03.09. Kayden Kruchoski, Lillian Hicks, Elizabeth York, Wilson, Macie Sisson, Allison Murphy, Camilla Nicholas and Jessica Hernandez made up the Spartan team.
