The Spartans Conclude Their Indoor Season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The second and final weekend of the indoor season came to a close for the Spartans track team. Tampa ran at the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic, held at the Alachua County Sports Complex for a solo day meet, Friday, February 7th. Breaking another five indoor school records, the Spartans are looking forward to their outdoor season, starting February 22nd at home. 

Top Performers: (men)

• 400m: Joey Coulter, 6th place, 49.33 (school record).

• 1600m: Gabe McConville, 4th place, 4:06.19, Provisional Mark (school record).

• 4x400m Relay: Parker Malmgren, Calvin Jordan, Gabe McConville, Joey Coulter, 8th place, 3:21.64 (school record). 

Top Performers: (women) 

• 60m Dash: Sarah Martinez, 26th place, 7.92 (school record).

• 60m Hurdles: Molly Morris, 7th place, 9.10 (school record).

• 1600m: Kara Bergeron, 32nd place, 5:19.82, top-five time in school indoor history.
