Tampa Spartans Travel to Embry-Riddle

March 4-5, 2025

Daytona, Fla -- The Spartans attened the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic, which held over 2,100 athletes completing. This two-day meet was filled with PRs, school records, and great running. This was the first time the UTampa Track Team has ran at Embry-Riddles track, and they made quite the impression. Slightly foreshadowing for the Sunshine State Conference championship, which will be held at Embry-Riddle, Staurday, April 19th. Looking into the future, a small group from the team will be running at USF, men's Friday and women Saturday. 

Top Performers (men):

• 110 Hurdles: Rory Olsen, 11th place, 15.49, school record, PR.
• 400m Dash: Joey Coulter, 10th place, 48.66.
• 4x800m Relay: Matt Damouni, Josh Hindman, Sam DeWeerdt, Cade Toohey, 2nd place, 7:50.47, school record.

• 100m Dash: Chloe Green, 15th place, 12.28, PR, 11th all-time; Ashley Mosesso, 38th place, 12.67, #10 school-history.
• 200m Dash: Allison Murphy, 21st place, 25.31, #4 school history, 15th all-time; Molly Morris, 25th place, 25.70, 8th in school history; Chloe Green, 29th place, 25.83, #9 school history, Lillian Hicks, 33rd place, 25.92. 
• 400m Dash: Marielle Clayton, 12th place, 59.02, #7 school history; Lillian Hicks, 20th place, 59.54, Tatum Lunsford, 21st place, 59.54, #8 school history; Elizabeth York, 25th place, 59.98, #10 school history. 
• 800m: Kendra Krueger, 2nd plcae, 2:09.68, PR, Provisional Standard.
• 1500m: Emily Kriney, 3rd place, 4:39.54, 17th all-time; Kendra Krueger, 4th place, 4:40.22, 20th all-time.
• 4x100m Relay: Ashley Mosesso, Allison Murphy, Lillian Hicks, Chloe Green, 5th place, 47.98, #3 school history.
• 4x400m Relay: Marielle Clayton, Kate Carter, Lillian Hicks, Allie Murphy, 3rd place, 3:54.66, #3 school histroy.
