Pair of Spartans Run Record Times

TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa runners Paige Williams and Anthony Nicolosi turned in record times at the USF Invite as the track runners are nearing NCAA qualification. Laura Woznicki also turned in a first-place finish in the Women's 3,000 run against Division I competition.

Woznicki took top honors while running a 10:22.23 in the 3,000. Williams set a UT freshman record in the same race while finishing second with a time of 10:26.68.

In the men's 3,000 Meter run, freshman Anthony Nicolosi set a UT school record with a time of 9:04.42. Teammate Jake Bess finished third in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase as well.
