Laura Woznicki Earns All-American Honors With School Record Time

WALNUT, Calif. - Laura Woznicki of The University of Tampa track team became the second Spartan to earn All-American honors while running a school record time at the 2008 NCAA II Championships.

The senior from Lakeland, who was also the 2007 Sunshine State Conference Cross Country Runner of the Year, finished eighth oerall in the 5K. Her time of 17:16.60 in the finals also represented a school record for the UT runner.

Woznicki become the second UT runner to earn All-American honors, joining Alison Macsas.
