
Woznicki Leads Spartan Women to Second Place Finish at Gator Invitational
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's cross country team ran to a second place finish at the Gator Invitational, which was hosted by the University of Florida. The Spartan men also competed, placing seventh as UF won both the men's and women's races.
Laura Woznicki was UT's top female performer, placing third as fellow Spartans Jessica Forrester (ninth), Paige Williams (16th), Michelle Gabrielle (25th) rounded out the top 25.
Anthony Nicolosi paced UT's men, finishing 39th overall in the crowded men's field. Chris Catanach (47th) and Jeremy Lautzenheiser (54th) were the next Spartans to cross the finish line.
