First Place Performance Helps Woznicki Earn SSC Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. - For the second consecutive week, the Sunshine State Conference has named Laura Woznicki its Female Runner of the Week. After winning the UT Early Bird Classic, Woznicki has now finished in the top three in both races this season.

Woznicki, a senior from Lakeland, placed first at Tampa's Early Bird Invitational. Woznicki completed the 5K course in 18:10, propelling the Spartans to a first-place team finish in the event.
