Laura Woznicki Earns SSC Honors Following Top Performance

ORLANDO, Fla. - After finishing first in a crowded field at the Disney Classic, University of Tampa cross country runner Laura Woznicki was named the Sunshine State Conference Female Runner of the Week.

Woznicki, a senior from Lakeland, finished first of 366 runners at the Disney Classic, logging a time of 17:42. Woznicki's time was her best of the season and helped propel the Spartans to a first-place finish in the 44-team field.

This marks the third time this season that Woznicki has captured the SSC award.
