Tampa Runners Set to Compete in NCAA Championships
JOPLIN, Mo. - The University of Tampa men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete for the first time in program history in the 2007 NCAA II Cross Country Championships. The Spartan women will compete in their fourth ever NCAA Championship while the men are appearing for the first time.
Saturday's championships will begin with the women's 6K at 10:30 a.m. The race will be followed by the men's 10K at 11:30 a.m.
The event will take place at the Missouri Southern State University Cross Country Course, located north of Fred Hughes Stadium on the MSSU campus. Tickets will be available for $5.
