
Memorial Service For UT Student Ryan McCall Slated For Sunday, Sept. 13 At 4 P.M. At Pepin Stadium
TAMPA, Fla. - Ryan McCall, a University of Tampa senior and member of the cross country team who was killed on Aug. 19 in an off-campus robbery, will be remembered by friends and family at an outdoor memorial service on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 4 p.m.
The memorial service will be held at Pepin Stadium at The University of Tampa. In case of rain, the service will be held in the gymnasium in the Cass Building, also on campus.
An exercise science major, McCall was widely regarded as one of the cross country team's most popular members. As a junior McCall was named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, and in addition to being a full-time student athlete, McCall also volunteered as a coach at Tampa Preparatory School. He planned to pursue a career in teaching and coaching.
