Tampa Cross Country Teams Receive Academic Awards
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Tampa men's and women's cross country teams were both named to the 2009 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team list.
The UT women were honored after compiling a 3.69 cumulative GPA as the men registered a 3.39 showing.
For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA.
