Jarrett Slaven Speaks About 2012 Cross Country Teams

TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa cross country head coach Jarrett Slaven spoke about the 2012 Spartans, answering a number of questions about his team and the upcoming season.

Tampa enters the season following a 2011 campaign where both the men and women won the Sunshine State Conference. Both teams also advanced to the NCAA Nationals for just the second time in school history.

Last season, Slaven was named both the SSC Male and Female Coach of the Year. He also guided his women's squad to its fifth consecutive NCAA South Regional Championship.
