Peter Licari Receives Men’s Cross Country Recognition

ORLANDO, Fla. - University of Tampa freshman runner Peter Licari has been named Sunshine State Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week presented by VALIC.

Licari, a freshman from Chuluota, Fla., grabbed his first career victory at Florida Southern's Jim Ryun Invitational. Licari turned in a time of 28:49.01 to lead a group of 50 runners participating in the 8K race. His performance also helped the Spartans take home the team title at the seven-team event.
