
Jarrett Slaven Named SSC Coach of Year as Four Spartan Runners Honored
MELBOURNE, Fla. - University of Tampa is awarded five Women's Cross Country All-SSC honors following their 13th conference championship. In total, seven student-athletes were named to the All-SSC Team. Voting for the team was conducted among the league's cross country coaches.
Colett Rampf of Saint Leo University is named Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Year. Rampf, a sophomore from Premniz, Germany, won the honor last season along with Freshman of the Year. Rampf repeats as the individual champion of the SSC Championship Meet the year while helping the Lions to a second place team finish.
Jarrett Slaven is selected Coach of the Year after leading Tampa to the conference championship. It's the 13th Coach of the Year selection for Slaven and the Spartans. Anabel Knoll of Nova Southeastern University has been selected Freshman of the Year.
Danielle Kissel highlights the repeat All-SSC winners. This is the fourth consecutive selection for Kissel, while teammates Chantalle Blundell and Claudia Cancello are honored the third straight year. Rampf repeats as an All-SSC selection from 2014.
