
Tampa Finishes Fifth at SSC Championships
Senior Mitch Arnold joined Lars Benner in the top 20.
MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team competed at the 2016 Sunshine State Conference Championships, placing fifth among league teams.

OTHER NOTABLES:
• The Spartans took eight runners to the league title event.
• Following SLU were Florida Southern, Nova Southeastern and Florida Tech. Rollins finished sixth behind UT.
• Benner was the top performer for Tampa for the third straight race.
• Also running for Tampa were Jessie Boria, Nick Morfesi and Eddie Keenan.
UP NEXT:
Tampa will train for the 2016 NCAA South Regional. The event takes place on Saturday, November 5. Saint Leo University will serve as the host.
