Tampa Completes 2016 Season at NCAA South Regional
Senior Lars Benner led the way for the Spartans.
ST. LEO, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team wrapped up its 2016 campaign at the NCAA South Regional, finishing 12th overall.

OTHER NOTABLES:
• The Spartans took seven runners to the race featuring the top teams in the South Region.
• Following region champ Lee was Sunshine State Conference schools Saint Leo and Florida Southern. Lee represents the Gulf South Conference. The top three teams all advance to the 2016 NCAA Championships.
• Benner was the top performer for Tampa for the fourth consecutive race.
• Also running for Tampa were Tyler Roberts (99) and Nick Morfesi (101).
• Tampa competed in the program's 14th straight NCAA South Regional.
