
Men's Cross Country B Team Opens Season at Valdosta
VALDOSTA, Ga. – The University of Tampa men's cross country B team opened its 2021 season, running to a fifth-place showing at the annual Valdosta State Border Clash.

- Tampa's top two finishers, Barich and Engelhardt, are both freshmen who competed in their first collegiate race.
- A total of 13 teams competed.
- Head coach Dror Vaknin had 12 runners compete in the race.
- Florida Southern at Tampa were the lone Sunshine State Conference schools at the Border Clash.

The Spartans head to Gainesville on Saturday, September 11 for the Mountain Dew Invitational. The University of Florida will host the annual event at Mark Bostic Golf Course.
