TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team placed 13th overall at the Florida State University Cross Country Open.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Sullivan led the way for the Spartans as he also ran a personal best in the 8K.
- Track All-American Shane Cohen appeared in the Spartan top five for the first time of 2021.
- A total of 26 teams competed.
- Head coach Dror Vaknin had 12 runners compete in the race.
- Other Sunshine State Conference schools at the event were Florida Southern (11), Lynn (16), Palm Beach Atlantic (18), Nova Southeastern (23) and Florida Tech (25).

The Spartans travel to the Pre-Nationals on Saturday, October 2. The race will take place at The Abbey Course in St. Leo, Fla.
