
Tampa 13th at UAH Charger Invite
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team ran in a 33-team field at the UAH Charger Cross Country Invite, placing 13th overall.

- Jared Hammill | 60th overall, 25:09.43
- Paul Wales | 64th overall, 25:12.39
- Shane Cohen | 116th place, 26:05.30
- Luke Talham | 117th place, 26:05.42
OTHER NOTABLES:
- Sullivan led the way for the Spartans for the third straight event.
- While leading the Spartans, Sullivan also recorded a new personal record by over a minute.
- Freshman Hammill established a personal best in the 8K for the second consecutive meet.
- Wales, Cohen and Talham each added personal records to round out the Spartan top five.
- Head coach Dror Vaknin had seven runners compete in the race as freshmen Brian Veit and George Alexander also ran for UT.
- Ryan Riddle of Missouri Southern won the individual title at 23:47.76.
- Other Sunshine State Conference schools at the event were Embry-Riddle (6), Florida Southern (8) and Saint Leo (9).

With the regular season complete, the Spartans will next compete at the 2021 SSC Championships on Saturday, October 23 at 7:45 a.m., at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla.
