LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team participated at the Louisville Invitation on Saturday, facing off against several of the nation's top teams in the 45-team field.

- Registering new personal bests in the 8K were Belmont and Brink.
- Second on the team, Brink notched his best finish as a Spartan.
- Head coach Dror Vaknin only registered five runners.
- Cumberland's Jason Bowers was the individual champion with a time of 23:51.7.
- UT was the lone Sunshine State Conference school in the event, which featured schools from all NCAA divisions.
