
Spartans Complete Season at NCAA South Region Championships
LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team competed at the 2022 NCAA Division II South Regional, finishing seventh overall among the region's top teams.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Each of the Spartan participants established new personal bests.
- Head coach Dror Vaknin registered seven runners in the event.
- Also competing for UT were Paul Wales and Dominic Brink.
- A new personal-best in the 10K was established by all seven UT runners.
- Jan Lukas Becker was the individual champion as the Mississippi College standout finished with a time of 30:40.3.
- The top three teams will advance to the NCAA National Championships, with Lee, Mississippi College and Embry-Riddle set to represent the region.
