As a Senior

• Did not compete in any events during 2024 season.

As a Junior

• Enrolled at University of Tampa for 2023 season.
• Opened UT career with 38th place time of 20:14 at Mocs Kick-Off (September 1, 6K).
• Competing at Mountain Dew Invitational (September 15, 7.8K), clocked at 26:42.6 to finish 114th.
• Timed at 26:47.8 at Florida State Invitational (September 29, 8K), placing 124th overall.
• At UAH Chargers Invite (October 7, 8K), was 140th with time of 26:07.90.
• Finished 38th at SSC Championships (October 21, 8K) with time of 26:34.8.

At FSCJ

• Attended Florida State College at Jacksonville.
• Finished 12th overall at JUCO Nationals.

High School

• Graduated from Bartram Trail High School.
• Ran for coach Neil West.
• Earned seven letters from Bears.
• 2021 team captain.
• Set school record in DMR.
• Collected top times in the 8K (27:27), 5K (15:45), 1,500m (4:03) and 800m (1:59).
• Also competed with Bluewave XC for coach Joseph Hale.

Personal

• Volunteered with Brooks Adaptive Sports.
• Helped people with disabilities play sports such as rugby, wheelchair basketball, soccer, and other sports.
• Member of all-academic team.
• Marketing major.
• Son of David and Ann Popik.
• Has two siblings, Sean and Cullen.
• Brother Sean, is a graduate of UT and competed for cross country and track teams.
