No. 11 Spartans Host Sharks in SSC Showdown
TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa will host Sunshine State Conference opponent Nova Southeastern in a three-game weekend series.

About the Spartans: The Spartans return home to Naimoli Field after facing off against the Florida Tech Panthers last weekend in Melbourne. Spartans won two of the three games in the series. Corynn Miner enters this weekend, hoping to build off her standout performance last weekend, as she hit three home runs and recorded a total of seven RBI. Additionally, Miner holds a 5-2 record from the circle with 30 strikeouts in 42.1 innings pitched so far this season. Sharing duties in the circle with Miner is Mariah Galhouse. Galehouse enters this weekend with a 4-3 record from the circle, tallying two saves, and 26 strikeouts in 46 innings. Additionally, she has pitched five complete games so far this season.
About the Sharks: The Sharks make the trip to Tampa after winning their last four games, the most recent being a five-inning 8-0 win over Assumption University.
